- Simmy Murch (1880) -He played parts of three seasons in Major League Baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals and Brooklyn Superbas.In 1905, Murch played four games for St. Louis, batted .111, and returned to the New England League. The following winter, he roller skated and was an official at a Boston rink. Murch then batted .269 for the Manchester Textiles in 1906 and turned an unassisted triple play. In July 1906, Sporting Life wrote that he “comes pretty near being one of the most valuable all-around men in the league.” In 1907, he led the league with four home runs.
- Andy High (1887) – He was a member of three National League champions as a St. Louis Cardinal, in 1928, 1930 and 1931. In 34 World Series at bats, High collected ten hits, batting .294. In the decisive Game 7 of the 1931 World Series, High, batting leadoff, had three hits in four at bats and ignited a pair of two-run rallies, scoring twice and helping the Redbirds build a 4–0 lead their foes, the defending world champion Philadelphia Athletics, could not recover, and St. Louis won the world title.
- Daryl Patterson (1943) -On May 22, 1971, the Tigers traded Patterson to the Oakland Athletics for John Donaldson. He appeared in only four games for the Athletics, compiling a 7.94 ERA in 5-2/3 innings pitched. On June 25, 1971, the Athletics sold Patterson to the St. Louis Cardinals. He appeared in 13 games for the Cardinals, compiling a 4.39 ERA in 26-2/3 innings pitched.
- Scott Terry (1959) -June 3, 1980: Drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 12th round of the 1980 amateur draft.
September 3, 1987: Sent by the Cincinnati Reds to the St. Louis Cardinals to complete an earlier deal made on August 31, 1987. The Cincinnati Reds sent a player to be named later to the St. Louis Cardinals for Pat Perry. The Cincinnati Reds sent Scott Terry to the St. Louis Cardinals to complete the trade. January 4, 1992: Signed as a Free Agent with the St. Louis Cardinals and finished with career record 24-28. - Tripp Cromer (1967) – Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the third round of the 1988 MLB amateur draft, Cromer made his Major League Baseball debut with the St. Louis Cardinals on September 7, 1993. He appeared in his last major league game in 2003. Cromer spent most of his career as a reserve infielder who played for an injured Ozzie Smith after coming up with the St. Louis Cardinals.
