In 1955, the St. Louis Cardinals signed Stan Jok as a free agent.
1958– The Detroit Tigers purchased Herm Wehmeier from the St. Louis Cardinals
Wearing his familiar uniform #9 in 1967, Roger Maris hits his first National League home run on the ninth day of the month in seat 9 of section 9. The right fielder’s sixth-inning round-tripper off Woodie Fryman contributes to the Cardinals’ 6-3 victory over Pittsburgh at Forbes Field.

The San Francisco Giants traded Ron Bryant to the St. Louis Cardinals for Tony Gonzalez (minors) and Larry Herndon in 1975.
At the Astrodome in 1979, substitute umpire David Pallone ejects the entire Cardinal bench after the players throw helmets and bats onto the field to protest a call. The minor league arbitrator was pressed into duty due to the major league umpire strike.

The game was being played in Cincinnati and was tied 3-3 with 2 outs in the top of the 2nd inning. The Reds had Howie Judson on the hill and Red Schoendienst was on base when Musial lifted a high drive for a home run to right field. Triple Play
In 2015, the Cardinals had runners on with Jason Heyward at second base and Jhonny Peralta at third with Yadier Molina at-bat in a scoreless game in the 2nd inning. The runners took off and Molina line the ball to second baseman Neil Walker who caught it and fired to Jung Ho Kang at third. He stepped on the bag and fired it back to Walker covering second for a TRIPLE PLAY.

Bill Bolden (May 9, 1893 – December 8, 1966) made his major league debut with the Cardinals on June 27, 1919. He pitched in 3 games and started on and finished with a 0-1 record. He threw 12 major league innings and allowed 17 hits for a 5.25 ERA. He played his last major league game on July 7, 1919.
Ray Katt (May 9, 1927 – October 19, 1999) He was first traded to the Cardinals on June 14, 1956, in a nine-player trade that included notables Alvin Dark and Red Schoendienst, and batted a .259 in part-time duty for the Redbirds through the end of the 1956 season. During the winter, though, St. Louis shipped him to the Chicago Cubs, In his career, he batted .232 with 32 home runs and 248 runs batted in.
Jerry Buchek (1942) made his major league debut as a Cardinal on June 30, 1961. He was a member of the 1964 World Series champion Cardinals. For his career, he hit .220 with 22 home run and 108 runs batted in in 421 games played.
John Stuper (1957) was traded on January 25, 1979, to the St. Louis Cardinals for Tommy Sandt before making it to the majors. On September 9, 1984, he was traded by the St. Louis Cardinals to the Cincinnati Reds for Paul Householder. He was 32-28 in his career.
