- Sportsman’s Park in 1951, the Cardinals split a three-team twin bill, beating the Giants 6-4 in a rescheduled afternoon game due to rain the day before, and then the Redbirds are blanked by the Braves in the regularly scheduled night game, 2-0. It is the first time since 1883 that a three-team twin bill has been played.
